Tell us about your vehicle
Let’s start with the details.
Year, make, model, condition and pickup location. Share what you know and ask about the next step.
Prefer to talk? Call 236 864 7638.
For vehicle enquiries only. We do not sell parts or remove small equipment.
Describe the situation
Start with what you know.
Collision damage
Explain which areas are affected and whether the car can move. Mention the repair shop location if it is being stored elsewhere.
Mechanical problems
Share the diagnosis or describe the symptoms. Say when it last ran and whether it starts, rolls and steers.
Missing components
Tell us what has been removed and whether loose parts are included. Be clear if you do not know whether the car is complete.
Make an informed decision
The repair bill is only part of the picture.
Compare an actual repair estimate with the time, storage and further work the vehicle may need. If you request an assessment, ask what the proposed amount includes and what could change it.
An enquiry is a way to gather information. You can clarify the terms before deciding whether to proceed. A condition assessment does not resolve ownership or an active insurance claim.
Discuss your vehicle
Before collection
Access deserves its own conversation.
Damage can affect movement as well as appearance. Mention damaged wheels, locked steering or a car that cannot roll. Describe gates, parkade limits and who can authorize release from a repair shop.
If there is broken glass or an apparent leak, explain the concern. Avoid moving the vehicle yourself merely to prepare an enquiry. Discuss suitability and arrangements first.
Describe the vehicle
Share the year, make, model, condition and current pickup location. Mention missing parts or anything you are unsure about.
Discuss the details
Ask about the assessment, any charges and the information needed before you decide.
Confirm the arrangement
Agree the vehicle details, access, availability and transaction terms before relying on a collection booking.
Insurance and ownership
A write off needs a separate check.
Tell JJ if a claim or disposal decision is unresolved. Do not assume a total loss vehicle is available for a private sale or that a particular buyer is eligible. Confirm the permitted route with ICBC before proceeding.
See ICBC salvage designation guidance. An assessment of damage is not confirmation of authority to sell.
Damaged car questions
What to discuss before deciding.
Do I need a repair estimate first?
You can start with the year, make, model and what you know about the damage. A repair estimate may help compare options, but uncertainty should be explained rather than filled in with a guess.
What if it cannot be driven?
Describe whether it rolls, steers and has keys. Include the pickup location and restrictions. Do not arrange to bring a disabled vehicle to our office.
Should I mention removed parts?
Yes. Explain what has been removed and whether it is included. This avoids an assessment based on a different understanding of the car.
Can I sell a car belonging to someone else?
Raise the ownership question before requesting collection. Helping a relative or possessing the vehicle does not alone establish authority to sell it.
How should I compare offers?
Compare the amount, any charges, the description it relies on and the collection terms. Ask what could change before accepting the arrangement.
