Start with the basics.
Vehicle condition, access and the proposed terms all matter. You can ask questions before deciding whether to proceed.
What should I send for an assessment?
Start with the year, make, model and condition. Explain whether the car runs, any missing components and its current pickup location. Mention keys and access restrictions.
How much is my scrap car worth?
A general price range cannot establish an offer for your specific car. Ask for an assessment based on its condition, completeness and collection requirements, including any charges.
Can I enquire about a car that does not start?
Yes. Explain the fault and whether the car rolls, steers and has keys. Suitability and access need to be confirmed for the particular vehicle.
Is collection free?
Confirm the actual terms with JJ. Ask whether the amount includes any collection or access charges and explain restrictions before accepting an arrangement.
Can collection happen today?
Call to check the schedule. Opening hours are 7 am to 11 pm daily, but this is not a guarantee of same day collection.
How and when is payment made?
Confirm the method, timing and transaction records directly with JJ before agreeing. Do not infer payment terms from the business name or another buyer’s advertising.
Can I bring the car to the office?
Please contact JJ first. The office at 1265 Pacific St #205 is not a vehicle drop off instruction. Discuss the vehicle’s current location and arrangements before making a trip.
Do you sell vehicle parts?
No. JJ does not sell parts. This website is for vehicle enquiries, rather than parts orders.
Do you remove small equipment?
No. JJ does not provide removal services for small equipment. Please keep your enquiry focused on the vehicle you want to discuss.
Ownership and documents
Resolve these questions before collection.

Tell JJ about unresolved claims or ownership questions. Do not assume possession establishes authority to sell, or that a written off vehicle is available for a private sale. See the damaged car page for that separate situation.
